Bill and Sirphim Hellier attended John Cleland's funeral service on Wednesday in Canberra. Bill was Mark's junior hockey coach (Canberra Baptist Teams) in the 60's. Bill collected the lads, coached them, led the youth group, Life Boys and Boys Brigade.
He oversaw many of his charges become followers of Jesus. Mark introduced Bill to many after the funeral as his mentor of a life time.
Delma read Psalm 100, Mark gave one of the eulogies and Wesley was one of the Pall Bearers. Delma is so sad for Ruth, her sister, such a young widow. John (58) died after three strokes then complications.
