Whales were in abundance last Tuesday - we were taking young writer program Panellists Peter and Kathryn Yaxley from Tasmania for a sight seeing tour of Tweed Heads and Coolangatta and the whales were splashing, coming out of the water, spurting - it was fabulous. And a beautiful day. Many locals went to look (my electrician said they went down), and tourists were fascinated - and all close in shore.
