Laguna Quays Respite - we encourage missionaries who visit to take their families on a day cruise of the Whitsundays Islands as it may be their only chance.My grand parents Walter and Jesse Tronson established Happy Bay Long Is. as a Tourist Resort 1933 - 1938 and when our 4 children were growing up we took them to Happy Bay to show them how their grand-parents established it.Note the advertising plaque - Grand-ma Jesse Tronson was a fabulous cook - "scones like mother used to make"  -  we're talking C19th culinary delights as Jesse learnt from her mum, her mum from her mum ..... John Wesley may have tasted them .... Enjoy Australia Day !
