He visited his widowed grand mother Jesse Tronson in Tewantin and the family farm Ringwood for a few days, then headed to his parents place in Maclean NSW on his way home to Port Kembla - a NSW train driver. When in Maclean he attended the Baptist youth group, Delma was there. Next morning Mark visited unannounced and the rest is history. They courted for some years, engaged April 1976 and married 12 Feb 1977. Honeymooned on Norfolk Island. Mark, a train driver, prior to marriage applied for seminary (Baptist Ministry - Morling, Sydney) - a letter of acceptance waiting on return. Delma a wife of a train driver 2 weeks, then found herself as a wife of a seminarian for Christian ministry. Them's the breaks!
