E-BLAST - SUN 27 JUNE

Spoon drain down the left hand side of Timeout in the Tweed - this came as a result of the March massive three weeks of rain - the block higher up had a drain which could not cope. Our neighbour in the same boat - we put in a dry stone wall (courtesy Aqua and Taheesha), then we cleared up the back of the block, fixed up the back yard garden steps, claimed insurance for lower inside lounge  carpet, sealed the rear lower wall but such a rain fall still had to be resolved as water rushes down the back yard - the solution was a massive spoon drain down the side of the house. All of this was limited cost, none major outlays.
