Phone books once upon a time were in two parts, white pages and yellow pages (business). They were both 400' tall and wide and thick (as it were)  - they were used as door stops, flower vase displays, land line platforms, and a hundred other uses. This photo was sent on the family WhatsApp to our 13 year old grand daughter in Sydney who responded: "Times have changed, hey!"
