NEWCASTLE FLYER


Mark as the Footplate Padre and author of 16 railway books, wrote a feature article for the media on reclaiming the high speed train debate citing the Newcastle Flyer which is still a quicker means between Sydney and Newcastle than is air travel. This photo shows a 38 Class and its fire box as for many years the Newcastle Flyer was hauled by the 38 Class. The November Footplate Padre story is about God's Call.

MARK AND DELMA


Mark and Delma are away the second week of November, first to to Canberra for the Australian and AIS Softball squad's annual talk on Respite and then to Wahgunyah northern Victoria for a Country Town Tour. Dave Moyle their host has developed the Heritage Park and Railway Museum at Wahgunyah.

DEAN DAVIS


Mark interviewed Dean Davis on the Australian Missionary News IPTV. Dean is a former television personality from Adelaide, relocated to Brisbane in the 80's with Channel 7 and then developed his own video production company, and chaplain to the Brisbane Bears / Lions AFL for 20 years. SAM AND SHARON MINGS


Dallas Texas: Dr Sam Mings President and founder of Law Witnesses for Christ International 'Chaplains to the World's Olympians' met with Mr Basil Sellers as he was visiting his son Paul who lives in Dallas. Sam Mings in his note to Mark after their hour long chit chat, made mention that Basil commented that Sam and Mark were very similar. Basil Seller's Darling Point parish minister Reverend Boak Jobbins is also a friend of Dr Sam Mings.
