CAN YOU IDENTIFY THIS PLANT?

While in Richmond, Tasmania we photographed this plant. It stood approx 4 metres, but grow much taller. It's Botantical name is - 'Carya ovata' - (ovata is the type of Carya) and often seen in the Tasmanian hilly country. It's common name is 'Catkin' (refers to the type of flower - long tail like structure).

RAMON WILLIAMS

Ramon Williams 78, is the face of Australia's Religious Media. He initiated his media mission when a missionary in the 1960's. Since the seventies he's developed a 'distribution of Christian media' ministry. He's been a great support to Mark over many years.

BLAST FROM THE PAST

Mark wrote an article for Christian Today Australia on whether Usain Bolt the Jamaican Beijing Olympic Gold Medallist 100 metre blue ribbon sprint sensation would be attending the New Delhi Commonwealth Games.
