E-BLAST - 16 DECEMBER 2012

Delma is passionate for Auslan (deaf signing) weekly class, each December their Tweed Auslan Christmas Choir has a singer (key board) for the Christmas Carol, the Auslan Choir "signs".

The Auslan Choir has done three presentations to date this December, including this past Thursday night's Kingscliff Candlelight Carols in the park at the beach, and Sunday night at the Presbyterian congregation. Delma herself wears strong digital hearing aids.

2012 CERTIFICATE

Delma received her 2012 Certificate of Appreciation from Southern Cross Care, St Joseph Nursing Home where she visits three oldies as a Pastoral Carer..

Their practise is to have trained Protestants visit those oldies who are Protestants. Delma has been engaged as a volunteer Pastoral Carer for some years now which is thoroughly enjoyable. Tuesday afternoons (when we're in Tweed Heads) is Delma's visiting Pastoral Care time.
