E-BLAST - 26 MAY 2013

Laguna Quays Respite - Delma was the first to walk on the fresh concrete 2 days after the pour - Stage 2 drive way - an area of 11 x 5.5 metres. A quagmire when wet, imperative project.

View to the rear fence is the car port area  -  the size of a double garage and more. We've also been donated a bbq. Next a largish heavy wooden table. It will be tremendous and get much use.

CONCRETING - LAQUNA QUAYS RESPITE

Concreter Karl Kirkwood hard at work with his team working on Stage 2 of the drive way from the gate to the end of the back patio. Mr Basil Sellers AM funded this. Next is the car port construction, a special request to Basil Sellers by Delma. It will take 6-7 weeks or more to get the plans (A Shed Company's approved registered plans) through Mackay Council.

Between now and the end of August it is a full house of missionary / pastor visits to Laguna Quays respite.

E-BLAST - 12 MAY 2013

Mr Basil Sellers AM sought a list of things so the Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite cottage might be more comfortable for the msisionaries. We bought in John Lyons from the Midge Point Shops real estate who identified such a list and spelt out the cottage's sturdy construction. The outside items we sought was the stage 2 concrete drive way and a car port down the back yard. Delma did not want a garage or garden-shed (not a herpatologist).

Basil Sellers meeting the costs and he added 24/7 wi-fi for missionaries to freely use the Intenet - and replace one of the lounge chairs which has blue tape to cover the cracks - which he referred to as the 'band-aid' chair.

Our part is to raise the annual funding for rates, insurances, car rego, car insurance, water, electricity......
