E-BLAST - 29 JULY 2012

London Olympic's PSI Media Team has already seen four articles published in Christian Today and Monday more - one is by Mark, a philosophical article on the Opening Ceremony which featured Britain's great industrialist commercial inventor Isma Brunel "on the hill" preaching while John Wesley who historians acknowledge saved England from a French type revolution was entirely missed out in relating the social mores of Britain. Mark makes the point that the time line of obscene corruption and greed led to the GFC and the outrageous recent revelations of specific British Banks. Mark asks: What gets celebrated?

E-BLAST - 22 JULY 2012

Mark and Delma with Australian Olympic Divers as guest of Olympic Coach Hui Tong as the divers were preparing for their events. The London Olympic Ministry Media Team will be in place by the end of this week.

New Zealand young writers project is only three weeks from being initiated. A joint project by Mark's PSI - (Press Service International) and Christian Today, we already have 9 NZ young writers towards an initial group of 12. We require more young women writers. Recommendations are welcome.

E-BLAST - 15 JULY 2012

Jonathan Mayne is one of the Olympic Media Team personnel writing articles on the LWFCI outreach throughout London during the Olympics: Bridging the Gap 2012 UK Outreach. Jonathan is consumate in all he does. He's a member of the International Canoe Federation and the International Dragon Boat Committee, many times National Canoe champion and international. Jonathan's assistant is wife Jenny.

The full Media Team is Reverend Dr David Smethurst and Peter Wooding (son of Dan) who is writing for Assist News Service (ANS) and CBN. LA Olympian and Olympic chaplain Angela Harris is also helping. Dr Sam Mings and the LWFCI staff are also part of this. Mark is collating the articles for Christian Today and ANS for world wide coverage, a very different role than previously and won't have to travel all over the place. This will be a super huge effort from 27 July-August 13.

E-BLAST - 8 JULY 2012

Swimmers Wake is the title of Mark's major Olympic art work. The art depicts the "splash" as the swimmer passes by - as if the swimmer's two feet have just moved past the edge of the painting.

Mark asked LA Olympian swimmer Angela Harris (London Olympic Chaplain - LWFCI) as to the correct terminology. Angela suggested Wake, Wave or Trough. Mark has an article on Angela's Olympic Ministry in tomorrow's (Monday 9 July) Christian Today.
