E-BLAST - 27 FEBRUARY 2011

Mark and Delma initial set-up 12 days at Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite with carpentary, some painting jobs, furniture and white goods delivered. Next visit mid March to fix the laundry, electrical jobs and more house painting. Turtle Village was to be a duplex resport (2000) and after infrastructure was put in: town water, street lights, power, services, the project fell over. Blocks were then sold off.

MISSING SIGN - MARINE PDE

Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite - "Marine Pde" missing sign. Mark rang Council, also reported a water leak on the footpath. Next day the Council fixed the "G Valve" telling Mark they missed the turn (no sign). They said they too would chase up the sign. Two days later Mackay Council rang Mark to check the house No. "for the Rates file". Truth is stranger than fiction!

E-BLAST - SUNDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2011

Delma loves her gardening and on her agenda at the Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite facility (Whitsundays) on this first set-up trip was to get into the front garden.

Be sure to catch the young Sports and Comment writers on our Press Service International web site - a new writer this past week is Veronica Harris from Tasmania. Jeremy Dover, Nathanael Yates and Tim Wilson were all published in Christian Today as well.

When Mark and Delma are in Laguna Quays (10-12 days of first fortnight for the next 6 months) he uses a Telstra pre-paid phone - 0487 245 207 - his Optus No. has no signal. Mark is also using this time as respite.

LAGUNA QUAYS OFFICE

Mark's veranda office at the Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite facility. It will take Mark and Delma six months of fortnight visits to get it ready. Giving it a face lift is a huge task. The furniture arrived this past week.

Please continue to support Mark and Delma in their faith living and in particular this respite project. Remittance form is attached or please go to the web site to the donate button options.
