E-BLAST - THURS 26 SEPT

ARPA Awards big screen - Delma saw it come up as she was facing the big screen - I had my back to the big screen and looking down a little as I was quite sure this premier award would go to one of the major denominational publications or one of the big masterheads - that was when Delma said to me - "This is you Mark, this is you." Total shock. Took time to register.
Every year I write several ARPA stories - this year is no different. Next week we have 2 articles on the Category awards with 5 photos each, and one on young writers with 2 photos.

E-BLAST - THURS 19 SEPT

Here it is  -  The Gutenberg  -  the premier award by the Australasian Religious Press Association (ARPA) - in 2019 it went to the young writers ministry - Press Service International - when announced it did not first register with Mark as with all the wonderful Christian publications and amazing Christian mastheads and online - Delma was heard saying,  "This is you Mark, this is you".
It is a celebration for all our young writers - past and current - a remarkable citation was read - David Chang the Editor of Christian Today was ecstatic and Mr Basil Sellers AM sent:  That is fantastic Mark! What an honour".

E-BLAST - WED 11 SEPT

Julie Belding New Zealand made a Life Member of ARPA last weekend in Christchurch. Julie Belding assisted in the founding of the Kiwi young writers in 2012-14 and was a NZ senior writer for some years. Julie spoke at the 2013 Auckland and Christchurch young writer conferences on the value of ARPA conferences and networks, and again at the Wellington young writer conference in 2014.
We have enjoyed a meal in Russell and Julie's Auckland home. Julie Belding was awarded the ARPA Gutenberg in 2012. Julie celebrated when PSI was awarded the 2019 Gutenberg - good buddies.

E-BLAST - THURS 5 SEPT

Auckland young writers supper last Mon evening 2 Sept.

Rebecca is a 3rd year Law student and discussed how the Kiwi young writers might establish themselves as a legal entity under the NZ Associations (Society) Model Rules for such groups as Scouts, Guides, Sport Clubs, Camera Clubs, Missions etc. We're looking at this - from now til the end of 2020 to provide plenty of group discussion. A name is important - we have found in Australia to use non-religious names such as "Well-Being New Zealand" which can in effect include a broader range of mission.
