E-BLAST - 27 JANUARY 2013

Australia Day  -  Mark's great grand father's drapery shop in Gympie 1901. T B Tronson was one of 4 brothers from Ireland for the gold rush, two marriages and 21 children.

Eldest son Walter my grand father, Seymour my father his 2nd son. I'm 2nd son of Seymour. 1590-1792 parchment of the Tronson family line is traced back to France (Heugenolt Protestants) - see "Logo Story"  
 
We celebrated Australia Day (yesterday) with a morning tea with friends and a 5.00pm fish & chips with the Australia Day traditional families celebration.

E-BLAST - 20 JANUARY 2013

Charley (Charlotte) Goiris is one of the new Melbourne young writers via Belinda Croft. 2013 Young Writer Program with Christian Today starts tomorrow - Monday 21.

Basil Sellers Young Writer Awards - Jeremy Dover rang suggesting awards, Basil Sellers concurred. There are three, major $1000 and two at $300 (next Aust and NZ on the Points tally).

7 Panellists mark each article out of 10. Tallies sent in every 2nd cycle (10 weeks) thru to August. Awards presented 5 September in Melbourne at the young writers mini-conference.

SUMMER E-BLAST - 13 JANUARY 2013

Anton Zhang is one of our new 2013 'young writers' -  Sydney Uni 'aeronautics'. Delma and I heard Anton's testimony in December - a contingent of Sydney youth visited Tweed Heads Presbyterian Church for 2 weeks in Mission. Anton sent intriguing photo for PSI / Christian Today. Best of 2012 series great success, 2013 young writer program resume Monday 21 January.

Laguna Quays Respite missionary bookings has July 2013 booked with groups covering the entire month.

E-BLAST - 6 JANUARY 2013

Mick and Tisha Williams - Tisha first indigenous young writer, Mick an indigenous artist (in Coolangatta). They worship at  Tweed Heads Presbyterian. Tisha came to us by young writer team, Daniel and Danielle Stott.

38 young writers in 2013: 15 NZ and 17 AUST and 6 Internationals - 3 Aussies one from Mozambique, one in China, one in Asia; NZ one in UK; two from Canada, one YWAM Brisbane, one in Canada.

Mark thoroughly enjoys this remarkable mentoring role and in conjunction with Christian Today Australia is delighted these young writers have a 'voice'.
