E-BLAST - 17 April 2011

Delma's birthday dinner celebrated with Sean and Sue Spencer of Midge Point - who have taken on the Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite 'ministry'.

Their Wednesday evening Connect (Bible Study) group starts after Easter and for 15 years they have had a vision of a Respite ministry.

Mark and Delma in Tweed Heads for Easter and back to Laguna Quays 9-19 May after Salley's baptism at Petersham Baptist Church 'youth service' on 8 May in Sydney.

SOLDIER CRAB MOUNDS

These Soldier Crab mounds illustrate to Mark the wonderful effort their support network in the Lord, have provided in seeing the Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite House essentials completed and it is now up and running.

Mark and Delma enjoyed a beach walk at Midge Point - 4 minute drive from the Laguna Quays Respite facility.

We were on the veranda when the 4.00pm Saturday tremor came. House shook and windows rattled for some time. First we've ever experienced.

MAJOR ARTICLES

Photo - Tim McDonald had his first Comment article published last week. Welcome to read Tim's and the other young writers on the PSI site. Tim and Kylie and their 4 children are enjoying Easter at Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite House.

Mark's articles on the failed 1938 Evian Conference to get Jews out of Germany to other nations was well received - as was his article on Government aid fraud and Missions as an alternative avenue for aid distribution.

ROLLER HANGERS

Basil Sellers Laguna Quays Respite facility has many set-up expenses and one related to wardrobes - as visitors are staying for short stays it seemed to make a lot of sense to get these roller hangers for $17.50 each. We have four of them, two for the main bedroom and one each for the smaller bedrooms.

The dryer is now fixed to the wall, we're painting four internal doors, a smaller room, gardening and shrub pruning, fixing a down pipe etc, and continually raising funds for the concrete drive and 2nd toilet. We're here to 19 April. To ring, please use the Telstra mobile rural No. - 0487 245 207.
