E-BLAST - THURS 29 MARCH

Some of Delma's hand crafted card creations made while at Laguna Quays Respite. Delma's ministry in this area includes posting them to the sick, the aged, the lonely and many are hand delivered and such like. There are also celebration cards for all sorts of occasions, cards for the grand children and our children and their spouses. The responses to Delma's cards are heart centred and full of the joy of the Lord as it is so obvious the detail and work that has gone into each card.

E-BLAST - THURS 22 MARCH

Jerome Dray Midge Point Salvation Army and Mark yesterday. Mark and Delma left Laguna Quays Respite for Proserpine airport 4.00pm heading home to Tweed Heads. Jerome and Betty are good mates with us. This visit the veranda repainted, a bathroom louver window pane replaced and stickers placed thereon, two frangipennies planted, internal walls washed, old house phone wall plug removed - much catching up in the community, Mark fell ill for 4 days after the arts morning tea along with 5 others. Thankyou everyone. This mission respite cottage continues to be such a blessing to many.

E-BLAST - THURS 8 MARCH

Why this photo  -  when there are photos of Midge Point Beach, the Laguna Quays Respite cottage
We arrived at Laguna Quays Respite Tuesday night 8.00pm - we have not been up here for 4 months - one of the maintenance tasks requested of Will and Margaret Pearce - mission helpers - was a strengthening timber across the end of the veranda lattice - it was wobbly. Will fixed that.
Another mission helper Sean Spencer came around yesterday and together we repainted the entire veranda balustrade including the new strengthening timber - see photo
Delma and Margaret are great mates and Margaret has become one of our latest 5 praying ladies - who commit our ministry and family to prayer each day - over 40 years we've had 5 praying ladies.
