KEN WALDING
Ken Walding is the Art Director of Horizons Gallery (South Tweed Sports Club) who rang Mark last week as their May exhibitor cancelled, and Mark has filled in, a 5 week exhibition. Dave Moyle (On Track magazine) was taught Art by Ken Walding in the early 1950's. Ken also owned his own gallery in Melbourne for some years. Ken Walding liked this painting of Mark's - 'Dusk City Lights'. The art show is a fund raiser for our Country Town Tour missions.
TONY de KEVITT
Tony de Kevitt from the Tweed Anglican Men's Fellowship is Mark's regular helper when hanging his art for exhibitions. Tony helped out once again last week when hanging the art for the Horizons Gallery exhibition for the month of May. Tony liked this painting depicting the imagery of a coastal rain forest.
STEVE BAZAL
Steve Bazal is both the SIM Mission Qld Director and has been assigned by SIM Australia to create a Sports Friends mission model for the First World from their Third World model (street kids sports linked into local churches). Mark interviewed Steve on the Australian Missionary News IPTV.
FOOTBALL
Steve Bazal - SIM Sports Friends Mission - wants this panting of Mark's in his office in SIM Brisbane. Is there someone out there willing to donate this painting $750 to WBA for Steve Bazal to attain this painting (Steve like us is also a faith financed missionary). The $750 to WBA is part of our art fund raising for our Country Town Tour ministries, next one is 3rd week of May.

Reverend John Giles is retired, and graciously serves as the President of the Northern Rivers Baptist Association (Grafton-Tweed). John recently visited the Tweed where Mark caught up with him. John was the first chaplaincy appointment Mark made to the Cronulla Sharks in 1985. George Capsis followed John.
APRIL - FOOTPLATE PADRE
The April Footplate Padre article is on driving the 'Sunlander' which is QR most famous train. Mark's 1988 book 'From the Drievr's Seat' takes the reader on 14 railway trips as if on the driver's seat. Allan Davis a retired QR driver wrote the Sunlander article. The photograph is Mark as a lad beside the Sunlander 1964.
JEREMY DOVER
Jeremy Dover is one of four new Well-Being Australia 'volunteer' sports writers for the on-line Christian Today Australia daily sports article (with Christian input). Last December CTA asked Mark to write such a daily sports article and he's subsquently put a team together.
