Complexities - Mark (Tronson du Coudray) 'new year' art work illustrating the year to come. It's hanging in the high stair well at 'Timeout in the Tweed'. Salley saw it, immediately liked it, and told everyone. It demonstrates the Christian walk with all our emotions, expectations and resolutions. Mark has an article on this art work coming up in the early part of the year.

E-BLAST - 20 DECEMBER 2015
Sam Manchester - 2015 Australian Basil Sellers Theological Award Winner, one of the foundation group of young writers is moving to London in 2016 and putting up his pen. Sam has graduated from Moore College and heading to London in ministry following in the footsteps of his dad Rev Simon Manchester who served under Dr Dick Lucas who developed the London Mid Week Business Luncheon Bible Studies. Simon and Mark have been friends over many years. Mark will miss Sam's lucid writing with sharp theology and spirited philosophy.
JANINE WILLIAMS - WEST INDIES
Janine Williams - West Indies - our 5th West Indian young writer - the others are Dr Sharma Taylor, Paul Lewis, Stacy-Ann Smith and Danielle Jones. Janine came to us thru Paul. Cyber space star sticker for Janine as she too liked my West Indian cricket dad joke - when the Australians go to the West Indies they lose due to those pesky times zones, when they go out to bat, they discover the ball was bowled yesterday!

Emily came to the young writer program through Jeremy Dover and when first started didn't realise (although spelt out in the new young writer document) it was a commitment of 10 articles year. Emily as so disappointed she could not write again! Then the revelation ! One very keen Emily.

E-BLAST - 6 DECEMBER 2015
Belinda Croft - one of the 6 young writers this E-Blast who are moving on from the young writer program at the end of 2015. Belinda is one super cool helper. Belinda was one of the "more mature" heads that I sought to initiate the young writer program and after 6 years of writing, doing the young writer conference videos, initiated the 'new young writer' introductory welcome, a member of the 2015 Leadership Group, and sent many messages of support and comment on the program. Moreover with a husband and a mum of three with two toddlers. (See next photo - Belinda and Laura are sisters)
Laura Veloso - Laura was one of the more mature 'young writers' I sought to help initiate the "Comment" section of the young writer program. Now after 6 years Laura is moving on. With a husband and a mum of three boys, writing steadily for these six years, the Week 3 coordinator and on the Leadership Group which developed the Vision-Mission - its been a bit hectic. A huge thankyou to Laura.
SAM RILLSTONE
Sam Rillstone - also moving on - Sam is a champion. He took a year off and travelled to many parts of the third world and like many young Christian men saw and witnessed things that shook him to his core. (Remember this is what happened to Bob Hawke). But Sam has come out of it - you can read his story of "hope" this Friday in Christian Today. He is from Auckland and has initiated an NGO "Refugees at Work".
LIANA MONAGHAN
Liana Monaghan - what a great girl is Liana - wife to Justin (another young writer) - we say farewell to Liana as she has been quite unwell and wants to support Justin in his writing. I have had a great deal of time for Liana as she wrote from the heart and struck a chord with my sentiments in the Christian walk. We might see Liana back one day.
TINA HAKIMI
Tina Hakimi - we also say farewell to Tina who is back in her US home at "medical school". Tina came to Australia for her PhD at UNSW and became a young writer through Grace Mathew and attended the 2013 young writer conf. Tina did a mission to Mongolia earlier this year with her US church. Tina is from an Irian family and I refer to her as the Persian Princess (it's okay with Tina). Tina might return to the team at a later date.
