One Day in Melbourne next Saturday 3 June at Moonee Ponds Sallies 880 Mount Alexander Rd. This day specialises for mission publication editors, editors, writers, social media maverns, bloogers, small Christian media ... Starts at 10.30am and finished at 4.00pm so interstate people can fly in and fly out.

E-BLAST 21 May 2017

Laguna Quays Respite - Aidtaskers invited the communities of Midge Point, Bloomsbury, Laguna Quays, Thoopara, Lethebrook and Surrounding areas to a community forum at the Midge Point Community Hall last Mon evening 6.00pm. Mark attended.
A debrief of the Cyclone Debbie was presented, as well as an opportunity to hear about how Aidtaskers are changing the way future disasters might be managed in this area. Disaster Services Coordinator for Aidtaskers, David Ayles gave a realistic and innovative view of how these communities can prepare, respond and recover to disaster events moving forward.

E-BLAST - 14 MAY 2017

Laguna Quays Respite pic of entertainment area car port and new barbecue. While here this visit post Cyclone Debbie a new washing machine (wind took the old lid), barbecue as the wind threw over the old one and rolled. The mango tree was 45 degree with its tap root snapped and it was chainsawed back to lawn. The power point plug on the power board died as did the thermostat on the hot water. A busy time as we have a full house of mission visits now through to Sept. Your help to offset these costs as a joy in the Lord.

Delma's dress rehearsal for the Midge Point Fancy Dress afternoon tea (4.00pm this afternoon Sun 7 May) as a Hawaiian girl. This is another of our community ministries of Well-Being Australia for this region:
Annual Art Prize, Annual Business Luncheon, Annual high tea for the art ladies, Online weekly news courtesy of young writer Josh Hinds who put it together for the community. Missions Respite cottage. Now the Fancy Dress afternoon tea.
4.00pm-5.00pm afternoon tea, 5.00pm the parade and judging.
