E-BLAST - THURS 25 APRIL

ANZAC 2019  -  Mark's art work for last week's Tweed Heads Chamber of Commerce. The work depicts ANZAC Cove at Gallipoli. In 1999 - Mark and Delma led a tour of the Holy Land, the Early Church sites in Turkey and ANZAC Cove - Mark preached there - 3 coach loads, 200 people. All this week in Mark's ANZAC articles a number of photos of that visit are exhibited.   

E-BLAST - THURS 18 APRIL

Tronson du Coudray's "The Resurrection" painted in 1999 which has been reproduced many times in numerous publications. It is also the photo Mark selected for Frid 26 April for senior writer Rev Dr Ross Clifford's article on the resurrection in Christian Today.
Easter 2019 as we remember the death and the resurrection and with all that is against the followers of Jesus Christ in today's world - we might reflect once more on our Salvation and His forgiveness.

E-BLAST - THURS 11 APRIL

Tweed Heads Chamber of Commerce breakfast Tues morning, the annual April ANZAC breakfast saw George Friend speak on the South West Pacific battles. He focused on The Battle of the Coral Sea, Papua New Guinea (including Milne Bay and Kokada), the Bombing of Darwin, Sydney's midget submarine attack and bombings, and the naval attacks on New Zealand. Although many Australians may know of these, Americans are painfully unaware and he does American cruise ship tours giving packed out seminars on these South West Pacific battles that changed the course of Japan's WWII.   

E-BLAST - THURS 4 APRIL

Timeout in the Tweed (NSW) -  front gutter repair  -  next week the plumber is coming  -  a very high job! Yes, another gifting appeal.
Laguna Quays Respite (Qld) inside painting is coming along. We have raised 68% - $1680 - to date, that is remarkable, thankyou.
Ergon Energy the sole provider of Qld electricity have reviewed Laguna Quays cottage and removed the Qld Subsidy we've had for 8 years. Although Centrelink pension concession cards and our seniors cards are 'national', Ergon will now only accept a Qld registered card.
We're praying not to have to charge mission people - depends what the electricity hike is.
